The Canasta
The game of Canasta, part of the Rummy family of card games, became a craze in America during the 1950s. The object of the game is to create melds (three or more cards of the same rank) and canastas (7 or more cards), the bigger the meld, the higher points that are earned. Jokers and 2s count as wildcards, but a meld has to contain at minimum two natural cards in order to be considered valid. The game is won by the team that is first to reach 5,001 points.
Segundo Santos who was a lawyer, as well as Alberto Serrato, an architect, developed Canasta while playing games of cards with friends in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1939. They wanted to create a card game that was more time-efficient than Bridge, and less reliant on luck than Rummy. Canasta is a card game that incorporates elements of Bridge, Rummy, and Conquan.
Each player is dealt 13 cards which are divided into two piles: the hand and the foot. The player then has to combine a minimum of three cards into columns, which are called sets. A set consists of three or more identical cards, such as four Kings or three Fives. Once a complete set is completed, the player has to take one card off the discard pile.
The Chilada
Chilada is a Mexican dish that is made of a tortilla and wrapped around other foods like meat, cheese or vegetables. It is usually covered with sauce and then topped with cheese. The dish comes in a variety of variations, and you can mix and match the ingredients to create various recipes. The enchilada has a long history in Mexican cuisine and, in the present version, can be made with either corn or flour tortillas.
It's time to forgo the margarita and choose one of two refreshing low alcohol beer drinks that are authentic to Mexico - the Chelada (cerveza preparada) or Michelada. Both include lime juice, a light beer, and salt. Chilada is typically drunk without ice and served with a coarse rim of salt, which is often Tajin. It is important to know that the chelada is a variant of the michelada, and does not include tomato juice, clam juice, or any sauces or salsas - these belong to its relatives the Michelada, Clamato con Chelada and Ojo Rojo.
This moderately sized clay chiminea has an original honeycomb cross-shape on the bowl and stack and is available in softer color tones. The
chiminea fire pit is available in two pieces and comes with a movable chimney stand and cover. The iron-colored decorative elements are enhanced to add to the base and the stack of this model.
The Blue Tornado
Ceramic chimineas are smaller than outdoor fireplaces and can be moved around the patio to match the mood or the weather. The wide bases slop to create a chimney, and they feature unique features such as the honeycomb pattern that is layered on the stack and the bowl. They can also divert smoke from your backyard into the air.
The Blue Tornado is a frequent superhero in the show. He has weather-related powers. He first appeared when Kaz and Oliver visited Mighty Med. He is a tall man in blue clothing and the head of a tornado and is able to spin into a tornado-like swirl at high speeds.
This action knocks your foes off their feet, flings and throws them into the air for a short period of time. This is especially effective on Egg Pawns that are not protected, Egg Knights and opposing playable characters who are wearing shields.
If used on enemies flying through the air, the Blue Tornado can be combined with a forward leap for additional height. Holding during or following the move allows the user to perform double jumps. This technique can also smash shields off of enemies who are not wearing them. This is a great method to swiftly eliminate larger enemies. It can also be useful for taking out flying foes, as the Blue Tornado can disrupt their flight patterns, making them easier to shoot down.
The Honeycomb
Chimineas are a great solution for outdoor spaces that aren't big enough for the size of a fireplace. The wide base tapers to a narrow chimney and some designs have handcrafted detailing to elevate the look of your patio. Chimineas can add warmth and character to any backyard, whether it's on a warm summer evening or a cool fall day.
Honeycomb is a delicious wonder of nature produced by honeybees. It's a hexagonal shape composed of beeswax and perfectly organized. It's also one of the most useful components of the beehive. Today, honeycomb structures have many scientific and engineering applications.
Honeycomb is utilized by the hive for three reasons as a nursery to raise new bees; as a storage area to store and transform pollen into "beebread" and, finally, for a long-term storage facility for nectar. When a beehive has swarms it, the bees begin the hive from scratch with a fresh honeycomb foundation.
Bees create honeycombs by vibrating their flight muscles to generate heat. This softens the beeswax plate they expel from their abdominals. The bees shape the wax into cylinders and connect adjacent cells on both sides. This arrangement is extremely constant, indicating that it's not just the result of blind physical forces but rather an well-organized pattern of construction behavior. This is also an example of convergent evolution - when a similar feature is seen in a variety of closely related species.
